Har-Bal Dynamics Processor is a unique implementation of a compressor that includes transient limiting, a novel solution to the problem of controlling large problematic transients. Har-Bal Dynamics Processor is available as a VST3 plugin on Windows or VST3 and AU plugins on MacOS.
Har-Bal Harmonic Balancer is software that implements a uniquely powerful approach to mastering recorded music that will allow you to solve mastering nightmares with ease. Sometimes today's music can be mixed and mastered incorrectly, producing extremely irritable tones to the listener. With Har-Bal you can create a harmonically balanced sound of unparalleled quality time after time. You will be able to create original and re-mastered recordings that rival the best mastering studios the world has to offer. Please make sure you have your spam filter turned off when ordering the program.
Har-Bal Multiband Gate implements noise gating by splitting the audio spectrum into 20 bands, most of which are 1/3rd octave in bandwidth, and gating each individually. The gating is implemented through a programmable frequency response implemented as a linear phase finite impulse response filter. As such, when there is no gating occuring the signal path suffers no degradation or phase distortion and when gating is occuring the frequency response implementing it is always linear phase. This makes for a transparent but cable noise reduction technology. Har-Bal Multiband Gate is available as a VST3 plugin on Windows or VST3 and AU plugins on MacOS.
Har-Bal Spatial Pan provides a means of positioning performers in a space not merely left or right but near or far. It does so by modelling the early reflections off the boundary walls of a performance space, thereby giving the performance a physical context. Near field recording techniques give control and low noise opportunities to acoustic recording but suffer from sounding somewhat one dimensional because of the lack of room defining early reflections. Adding a reverb can mitigate this but suffer from the problem that all early reflection characteristics will be the same for all performers irrespective of position. Spatial Pan provides unique and consistent early reflections that accurately define the space and when combined with reverb, provides exceptional clarity through an easy to use control interface. Har-Bal Spatial Pan is available as a VST3 plugin on Windows or VST3 and AU plugins on MacOS.
Har-Bal Synthetic Space is a new class of room reverberation processor that produces natural and realistic reverberation with very small CPU demands on the host processor. Simple to use, powerful and flexible, Har-Bal Synthetic Space is available as a VST3 plugin on Windows or VST3 and AU plugins on MacOS.
