Har-Bal Multiband Gate 2.0

Har-Bal Multiband Gate implements noise gating by splitting the audio spectrum into 20 bands, most of which are 1/3rd octave in bandwidth, and gating each individually. The gating is implemented through a programmable frequency response implemented as a linear phase finite impulse response filter. As such, when there is no gating occuring the signal path suffers no degradation or phase distortion and when gating is occuring the frequency response implementing it is always linear phase. This makes for a transparent but cable noise reduction technology. Har-Bal Multiband Gate is available as a VST3 plugin on Windows or VST3 and AU plugins on MacOS.
